The Wedding Day Revenge Exposing My Cheating Fiancé

The Wedding Day Revenge Exposing My Cheating Fiancé

I went to the car to grab the contract documents.

That's when I spotted a folder by the center console that wasn't mine.

I picked it up. The label read: [Induced Abortion Consent Form.]

The patient's signature belonged to my best friend of twelve yearsNaomi Butler.

My heart lurched. I scanned further down to the family member signature line.

Alex Mason.

My hand trembled. The form slipped onto the seat.

Before I could process anything, my phone rang. Alex's voice came through, warm and coaxing.

"Stella. I'm already at the restaurant." A smile crept into his tone, that familiar boyish whine. "I've been waiting forever. Hurry up and come keep me company."

Seven years together, and Alex still clung to me like this. Texts, calls, video chatswhenever he had a free moment, he had to reach out.

I used to tease him. "Alex, aren't you worried people will call you whipped?"

He never cared. Just grinned with that smug look. "I'm not whipped. I'm Stella-brained."

The memories flickered through my mind like a slideshow. My chest ached, tight and suffocating, but Alex kept talking.

"Oh, and Stellayour best friend." His tone shifted to its usual disdain. "I posted the restaurant to my feed, and she immediately latched on saying she wanted to join."

"I didn't want to agree, but you know what she said? That I had to, whether I liked it or not. If I didn't, she'd make things difficult."

"Honestly, if it weren't for you, I'd have blocked her ages ago."

My eyes burned. My throat tightened. I thought about every date Alex and I had gone onhow Naomi always showed up, clinging to my arm, pouting.

"Bestie, you can't ditch your girls just because you have a man. I won't let you choose a guy over your friends."

Every single time she pulled that, even when I wanted Alex to myself, I caved. And Alex had gone from resisting her presence to just... accepting it.

I never noticed anything was off.

His voice pulled me back. I knew what he was waiting forfor me to laugh it off like always. To say, "Naomi's just childish. Don't take it personally." Or, "She's my best friend. Just humor her."

My throat closed up. Getting words out felt impossible.

He asked again.

I finally spoke.

"Alex. Do you like Naomi?"

Silence on the other end.

Brief, but there.

Then his voice came back, dripping with disbelief. "Who did you say? Naomi? Stella, don't be ridiculous. You know how much I've hated her from the start. She's always stealing your time, demanding your attention more than I do. She crashes every single date. If it weren't for you"

"Alex." I cut him off, forcing down the grief clawing at my chest. "Would you ever betray me?"

I stared at the consent form.

Three months pregnant.

Which meant before this, Naomi and Alex had already slept together. Maybe even longer than thatmaybe they'd been together for a while. How long, exactly?

I needed to know.

"Stella, did someone tell you some kind of rumor?"

Alex's probing tone was like a dull knife twisting into my chest. It hurt so much I could barely breathe, yet I still heard him say

"Stella, don't believe it. Don't listen to other people's nonsense"

I hung up before he could finish.

If it had only been suspicion at first, then Alex not daring to face my question head-on, his guilt-ridden shift in attitudeit all made one thing crystal clear.

Alex had really betrayed me.

Then what about Naomi?

I sat in the conference room and finished signing the contract with the client. By the time I was done, it was already evening. The phone I'd left on silent was about to explode.

Over a hundred missed calls. Countless WeChat messages and textsall from Naomi and Alex.

I opened Naomi's chat window. Voice messages.

"Have you lost your mind?"

"You suspect I'm having an affair with Alex?"

"Me? Into that dog Alex Mason?"

"Back then, you insisted on being with himdidn't I tell you to break up? Didn't I say not to be with that dog?"

I remembered.

When I first started dating Alex, I couldn't wait to introduce him to Naomi. I told him she was the most important person on my side, and that I wanted him to treat her as well as he treated me.

I told Naomi toothat I really, really liked Alex.

She promised to observe carefully. But the moment she saw him, she launched in.

"You like our Stella? How many apartments do you have? What kind of car do you drive? How's your income?"

I couldn't even stop her. She'd already blurted out

"Stella's last boyfriend drove a Porsche. You can't be worse than him, right? Otherwise how's she supposed to show you off?"

Alex held back his anger that day. Kept his manners. Answered every question.

But afterward, he told me, "Stella, honestly? Your friend isn't great. If you keep hanging around someone like that" His face twisted with disgust. "I'm afraid you'll get dragged down too."

We fought over it. Had a cold war for days.

Naomi told me the same thing from her side. "Someone who can't even tolerate the people closest to youhow can you trust him with your whole life? Stella." She was so earnest. "Break up."

From then on, those two couldn't stand each other. Every time they met, they'd start fighting.

Now, looking back on these seven years

I felt like a joke.

I came home from the office. Just as I was about to push the door open, a hand grabbed my wrist and yanked me back.

"Stella, why aren't you answering my calls?"

Alex reeked of alcohol. His tone was wounded, like an abandoned puppy.

"I couldn't get through to you. I waited at the restaurant forever, and you never came. Did I say something wrong?"

He leaned in.

I stepped back. Broke free from his grip.

"You're drunk."

His expression frozelike he'd suffered some enormous injustice.

"You're pushing me away?" He stared at me in disbelief. "You're actually pushing me away?"

His eyes turned red.

"Stella, we've been together seven years. You've never pushed me away like this. What did I do wrong?"

He pulled out his phone, shoving it toward me. "If you think I did something to betray you, then go aheadcheck. I have nothing to hide."

"Stella."

"But you can't treat me like this."

In all these years, Alex and I had almost never argued.

Only that one time.

And it was still because of Naomi.

Now, looking at Alex's open, straightforward face, I only found it funny. I pulled out the WeChat live updates Naomi had sent me and put them in front of him.

"Stella, Alex and I have both been waiting for you for half an hour. The food is already cold."

Naomi took a photo of the dishes.

"I'm hungry."

"I'm eating first."

In the live-update photos, there was Alex's teasing voice, laughing as he said, "I've never seen someone like you, like a starving ghost reincarnated."

A very ordinary sentence. But it made me hear indulgencean indulgent feeling I'd never carefully noticed before. Even after Naomi finished eating and took a selfie, I could still hear Alex say,

"You little glutton, you didn't wipe the corner of your mouth clean."

Naomi said, "Baby, there's so much good food, and I ate it all, so it's not wasted."

"Your Alex looks like an injured puppycome pick him up."

In the messages Naomi kept sending, I could hear so many fragmented bits of Alex's voiceAlex laughing at her for being like a little pig, and Alex saying she was very cute.

And even Naomi questioning, "Between me and Stella, who's cuter?"

And Alex said, "My god, why are you getting jealous of my wife."

"Of course you're cuter."

My heart ached until it was about to shatter, yet I watched Alex's expression go blank for a moment. Then, furious and flustered, he pointed at me and said,

"Stella."

"Naomi is your best friend, your family you've had for twelve years. How can you think about me and her with such filthy thoughts!"

I looked at Alex being righteous and stern, and I still felt hurt. My chest felt like it was stuffed full of damp cotton, about to suffocate me.

"Alex."

"I didn't say anything."

Tears fell. I met Alex's stunned face.

"What are you confessing without being asked?"

I shoved him away hard and shut the door. Ignoring him shouting my name, pounding on the door hard and yelling,

"Stella!"

"I've never wronged you!"

"We're about to get married!"

"You can't treat me like this!"

Listening to his voice, I only felt like even the heavy air was mixed with dense needles, seeping in everywhere and stabbing into my nerves. It hurt so much I was about to break down, yet I saw Naomi send me a WeChat message asking me,

"Stella, are you sick!"

"You suspect me and your husband?"

"Explain yourself right now! I'm not taking the blame for this!"

Looking at Naomi's messages, I still felt it was mocking.

Naomi and I had been together for twelve years, from meeting in high school until now, never separated. I treated her as family, as my closest friend, yet I'd never thought that such a melodramatic plot would also get applied to us.

I collapsed into a sitting position in the living room, looking at the house that had already been dyed with celebratory cheer, and I still couldn't control the tears surging down.

Until a friend called me and said,

"Stella."

"I got what you wanted."

My friend asked me worriedly, "Are you ready?"

I only listened to her speak, opened that file, and watched Naomi lying in Alex's arms, crying until she choked.

"Alex, this is our third baby."

"Will I not be able to get pregnant in the future?"

Alex coaxed her.

"No."

"If that day comes, I will definitely take responsibility for you."

I watched him kiss Naomi's lips and tell her,

"I'll stay with you."

I watched the video, and my stomach churned violently. Before I could react, I had already vomited all over the floor.

When my friend rushed over, she just held me tight.

"Don't cry."

"Stella, this is a blessing in disguise. As long as you're not married yet, as long as you haven't signed the certificateit's a blessing." She gripped my shoulders. "I'll expose those two right now for what they really are!"

She was ready to burn it all down, but I stopped her.

"The wedding still has to happen."

"You still want to marry that scumbag?"

"No." I looked at her, my tears finally spent. "Someone who betrays trust doesn't get to walk away clean."

"I won't let them walk away clean."

"I want them ruined. Disgraced."

I stayed at her place for a week. A full week.

Alex's messages came every day. Naomi went from demanding answers to sweet-talking me. I didn't know how much of it was real anymore.

It didn't matter.

I told Alex the wedding would proceed as planned. He was thrilled, wanted to see me immediately. I refused.

"Alex. In my family, the bride and groom don't see each other before the ceremony."

My parents backed me up. "That's how it's done."

So Alex sent flowers daily, texted constantlyevery half hour, reporting his location to prove his devotion. "Babe, with a wife as beautiful as you, how could I ever look at anyone else?"

He thought it was over. He even joked about it.

"Someone like Naomi? She can't compare to you. What does she even have?"

I saved every message. Then I asked my friend, "Is everything ready?"

"Ready. Just waiting for the wedding."

The day arrived.

To show how much he cherished me, Alex hired photographers to capture everything. Even random coworkers got invited to toast the happy couple.

The venue was packed, buzzing with celebration.

I watched Alex, beaming, tell the event manager, "Let's begin."

The highlight reel he'd prepared played on the massive screenus holding hands walking into the chapel, the moment before he kissed me.

Then the footage cut.

An Audi, rocking rhythmically.

Naomi's breathy voice filled the banquet hall. "Alex... let's have a baby."

Alex was on top of her, face flushed. "Just got rid of one and you want another? Naomi, admit ityou're shameless."

"Shameless?" She laughed, hitting his chest playfully. "So what if I am? You still can't resist. Still sneaking around behind Stella's back to fuck me whenever you get the chance."

"Alex. Which one of us is really shameless?"

The moans kept going.

The room exploded.

"ALEX MASON!"

Before he could react, someone charged the stage and slammed a fist into his face.

"You fucking animal!" My cousin's eyes were wild, arm cocked for another blow. "Is this how you treat my sister?!"

Alex finally snapped back to reality, face white as a sheet. "It's not what you think"

I was already on stage. I picked up the microphone, aimed it at him, and smiled.

"Alex Mason."

"I carefully prepared this wedding gift."

"Are you satisfied?"
