Female General Returns To Burn Hell

Female General Returns To Burn Hell

I became the only female General of the Silver Moon Pack because I worshipped my mother.

She was the Luna Queen who once donned armor to help my father conquer this territory.

But when I returned from the border wars this time, everything had changed.

My brother, Kaelen, had replaced me with a low-tier girl from the Red-Light District named Lilah Vance.

Not only did she occupy my Obsidian Manor, but she also stole my fianc.

Kaelen insisted that Lilah was the true royal bloodline.

He claimed I was just a peasant switched at birth by a traitor.

My fianc, Caden, sneered at me in agreement.

"Lilah is the true Princess. She is refined and elegant," he said.

"You're just a piece of trash who spent every day rolling in the dirt with soldiers. You aren't fit to be a Lady."

In my past life, I tried everything to find evidence of my identity.

But on my way to the palace, I was drugged and thrown into a den of feral rogues.

I was tormented until I took my last breath.

When I opened my eyes again, I was back on the day of my return.

This time, I will make sure you all burn in hell.

I was blocked outside my own Obsidian Manor once again.

Just like in my previous life, Lilah stood at the gate in a sheer silk dress.

She wore gold hairpins and a smug expression on her face.

"Get lost! This is the manor the Alpha King built specifically for me."

She took two steps forward, her jewelry jingling with a flirtatious charm.

"So, you're Seraphina Valerius?"

I shouted back at her.

"How dare you call me by my name without a title!"

She covered her mouth and giggled.

"You're the one who should be afraid. I am the true Princess of this pack."

"To hell with your fake title!" I snapped.

I stepped forward and delivered a crisp slap to her face.

She held her cheek, staring at me in pure disbelief.

Her eyes welled with tears as she pointed a trembling finger at me.

"You... how dare you hit me..."

I sneered. "I enjoyed the sound of that. I think I want to hear it again."

I raised my hand for a second blow, but a shrill voice stopped me.

"Stop! Stop this instant!"

A gray-haired butler named Silas rushed over and stood in front of Lilah.

"Lady... oh, wait, I mean Seraphina. You can't hit her."

"She is the real daughter of the Alpha King."

Looking at his rat-like face, my blood boiled.

I kicked him straight in the stomach, sending him flying two meters back.

Silas was my brother Kaelen's head steward.

In my last life, he spread rumors to my parents that I was sleeping with the entire army.

He was also the one who drugged me and threw me to the rogues.

"Ow! That hurts!" Silas groaned.

"It's been confirmed, Seraphina. You're just the orphan of the disgraced Vance family."

Lilah pretended to help Silas up, acting like a saint.

"Don't blame Sera, Silas. She probably hasn't heard the news yet, so she's acting out."

"She knows!"

Another voice rang out as my fianc, Caden Sterling, stepped forward.

He pulled Lilah into his arms, protecting her fiercely.

"Seraphina, I wrote to you months ago explaining the truth. Stop playing dumb!"

"You're the daughter of a criminal. You have no right to scream at this manor!"

"The Princess is hosting noble guests today. Get back to your barracks."

"Go back to rolling with the peasants and stop disgusting the Princess!"

A group of young nobles walked out of the manor, whispering behind their hands.

"So that's the fake Princess. She stole Lilah's life for years."

"I heard she's riddled with diseases from the soldiers she sleeps with."

I stared at Caden with eyes full of hatred.

He once swore he would only love me.

He told me he loved my strength and my spirit on the battlefield.

I believed his lies back then.

I even begged my father to let me marry him so his father could be promoted to Baron.

In this life, I'll make sure he realizes that the higher you climb, the harder you fall.

I took a step toward him and growled.

"Calling me by my name deserves a punishment too!"

Slap! Another loud crack echoed in the air.

I put all my strength into it.

I had been fighting wars for years; my strength was equal to any male warrior.

Caden saw stars instantly, his footsteps becoming unsteady.

He pointed at me, his face red with rage.

"I'll have my father tell the King! I'll have your head for this!"

"Go ahead and tell him!" I yelled.

"I have won every battle for this pack. Even the King treats me with respect."

"None of you lowlifes have the right to speak my name!"

"I am entering this manor today. If anyone stops me, talk to my sword first!"

I unsheathed my blade, and the crowd scrambled back in fear.

Lilah cried out behind me.

"My brother Kaelen will be here soon! Aren't you afraid of his punishment?"

In my last life, Kaelen helped hide the truth of my brutal death.

He told the world I was a degenerate who deserved to die.

I laughed coldly. Good. Let them all come.

It saves me the trouble of hunting them down one by one.

"I'm not afraid of him. Even if God himself comes, he won't stop me from entering my own home!"

I walked into the inner hall and found it transformed into a den of excess.

The gold and jewels were everywhere, dripping with luxury.

The dancers in the middle of the floor ran away screaming when they saw my sword.

I scanned the room with a sharp, lethal gaze.

Half the guests were high-ranking officials from the pack council.

The rest were wealthy heirs I didn't recognize.

I walked straight to the empty head seat and sat down.

I picked up a chilled grape and popped it into my mouth.

The sweetness was refreshing, but it tasted like bitterness to my soul.

My father used to send me the best fruit to the front lines as a sign of his love.

Now, that love was being wasted on a snake.

My anger flared, and I pointed my sword at Lilah as she entered.

Caden quickly pulled her behind his back again.

"Seraphina, have you lost your mind? You're threatening the Princess!"

I smiled, moving the sword tip to his throat.

"Do you really love her that much? Are you willing to die for her?"

"Lilah is the true Princess and my future wife. I will protect her with my life!"

A sharp pain flickered in my heart, but I suppressed it.

This was the man I gave everything to. How pathetic.

Suddenly, I noticed a large object covered in a red cloth.

I used my sword to flick the cloth away.

Underneath was a massive, exquisite statue made of pure blood-red crystal.

My eyes burned with unshed tears.

Before my last mission, Caden promised me a gift for our engagement.

He said he would find the most beautiful crystal in the world for me.

The crystal was found, but the bride had been swapped.

"Seraphina! That is my gift to the Princess! It's a symbol of my love!"

"I won't let you defile it!" he screamed.

You won't let me? Based on what?

My sword swung down, shattering the brilliant crystal into a thousand pieces.

"You monster! Do you know how hard I worked to find that?" Caden yelled.

"It's a good thing you aren't the Princess. Even if Lilah hadn't appeared, I'd never marry a brute like you!"

I burst into laughter and looked him in the eye.

"Now I'm a brute? What happened to the man who knelt for days to beg for my hand?"

"What happened to the man who swore he loved my fire?"

"Now you claim to love this club girl. Is it her you love, or the crown on her head?"

Suddenly, a thunderous voice boomed from the door.

"Enough!"

A group of elite soldiers rushed in and surrounded me.

My brother, Kaelen, walked in with Caden's father, the Baron.

"You're the daughter of a traitor. How dare you spread lies here!"

"Guards! Arrest her!"

Lilah threw herself into Kaelen's arms, sobbing and shaking.

"Kaelen, you're finally here. I know Sera is upset about losing her status."

"Maybe I should just give it back to her. I don't want everyone to be unhappy."

Kaelen stroked her hair gently to comfort her.

"Don't worry, sister. I won't let anyone bully you."

He turned to me with a face full of fury.

"I'm disappointed in you. I was going to take care of you out of pity."

"But you don't know your place. Take her down!"

The soldiers moved toward me, but I didn't flinch.

I dodged the first move and put my blade against the throat of the lead soldier.

"Haha, brother, you really know how to hurt someone."

"You're making the very men I trained come and arrest me?"

The soldier under my blade sighed, his voice filled with grief.

"Princess, I am sorry. But as a soldier, I must follow the Prince's orders."

"I will repay your kindness in the next life!"

He suddenly grabbed my sword and pulled it across his own throat.

Blood sprayed across the floor as he collapsed.

The guests screamed in horror.

"She's a murderer! Prince, arrest this woman!"

I ignored them and pointed my sword at Kaelen.

"You know my skills. These guards are nothing to me, and neither are you."

"But I won't kill you yet. I'm not as heartless as you are."

"I still remember when we were kids and we only had each other."

When we were young, our parents' first rebellion failed, and we were separated from them.

Kaelen and I had to hide among beggars to survive.

Back then, he would fight off stray dogs to give me a piece of bread.

He would hold me in the rain to keep me dry.

If it weren't for him, I would have died on the streets.

"We went through so much. How can you treat me like this, Kaelen?"

"When the enemy pack invaded and our army was failing, our father wanted you to lead."

"I stepped up and went to the front lines at sixteen just to protect you!"

"Even if we aren't blood, does twenty years of love mean nothing?"

My heart ached as I looked at the people I loved most betraying me.

Kaelen's expression remained ice-cold.

"Going to war was your duty. If I hadn't fed you back then, you'd be dead anyway."

"You owe me your life. Besides, you enjoyed the barracks, didn't you?"

"You should thank me for giving you so many men to play with."

The Baron stepped forward too, sneering at me.

"You filthy woman! My son was blind to ever care for a slut like you."

"Your scandalous behavior in the army is known by everyone. Shameless!"

I laughed so hard my chest hurt.

"Shameless? You want to talk about shameless while he's holding a girl from a brothel?"

Kaelen lunged forward and slapped me across the face.

"I won't let you insult my sister!"

I wiped the blood from my lip and kept smiling.

"Fine. You say I'm a fake. Where is your proof?"

"Fine," Kaelen growled. "I'll let you die knowing the truth."

He ordered his men to bring in a middle-aged woman who knelt on the floor.

"This is the midwife from the Vance family. She switched the babies herself."

The woman claimed that on the day the Vance family was executed, the mother escaped with a baby girl.

She said they found a shack where the Luna Queen was giving birth alone.

She pretended to help and switched the infants in the chaos.

"I just wanted the Vance girl to live. I couldn't raise her, so I gave her a royal life."

I looked at her. "So, we're just taking your word for it? That's pathetic."

"There's more! Lilah was born with a silver crescent birthmark on her shoulder."

My heart skipped a beat. I had that mark, but no one knew about it.

I never let anyone see my body.

Kaelen then brought in a young maid.

It was my personal servant, Jade.

"I can prove it. I saw the mark on Seraphina when she was bathing."

I clapped my hands and laughed.

"Good job, Kaelen. You had spies around me this whole time."

The council members began to murmur in agreement.

"It must be true. Tomorrow we will ask the King to compensate the real Princess."

"And this impostor, Seraphina, should be executed for her crimes!"

Lilah dropped the act of a victim and smiled triumphantly.

"Sera, I know you're bitter. But everyone knows the truth now."

"If you apologize to me right now, I might ask my brother to spare your life."

"Spare my ass!"

I grabbed a wine goblet and hurled it at her head.

It left a massive bruise on her forehead, and she burst into tears again.

Kaelen and the guards drew their swords to kill me.

Suddenly, a powerful, commanding female voice boomed from the entrance.

"Who is bullying my daughter?"

My mother, the Luna Queen, marched in with a squad of royal guards.

Tears welled in my eyes. My mother was finally here.

But then, she walked straight toward Lilah!
